Come to see us in the lovely village of Bath on April 27/28 2024 for the Bath Artisans Group Spring Delights Show and Sale. April 27th and 28th, Saturday and Sunday, 10am-4pm, in St John's Hall (216 Church St Bath ON). Admission is free!! Original works by Bath Artisan painters, cardmakers, potters, woodworkers, jewelers, glass artists, and many more. Just in time for Mother's Day, or if you are looking for the perfect gift for that special someone.

Kingston and District Branch, United Empire Loyalists’ Association of Canada (UELAC) will meet on Saturday, April 27 at 1:00 p.m. at St Paul’s Anglican Church Hall, 137 Queen Street (doors open at noon); or if you prefer on Zoom (open at 12:30 p.m.).  Jo Ann Tuskin will speak on “Early Loyalists of Ontario:  Who, Where, and Why”, including historic maps.  Jo Ann is the longstanding Dominion Secretary of the UELAC, and active in genealogy.  For the Zoom link for the meeting, visit the website www.uelac.org/Kingston-Branch .  All with an interest in Canadian history are welcome!

We have an urgent need for host families to accommodate university students from Japan. Since 1995, we’ve helped tens of thousands of international students find homes away from home with local families in Canada including right here in Kingston.   When we welcome international students into our schools, our education programs benefit, our community benefits, and local students are offered life-changing experiences that positively shape their worldviews.  Hosts across our network agree that homestay has changed their lives through life-long friendships and lasting connections throughout the world.
